Welcome to Canvasm Docs
Documentation for Canvasm (Metrimap) — the platform for mapping how your work drives your metrics.
Canvasm (the product is also called Metrimap) is a platform for building metric maps: visual models of how your business goals connect to the metrics, data, and work that move them. These docs explain the model, teach the workflow, and give you the technical reference to connect data and agents.
Early documentation
This documentation is being written alongside the product. Pages are labelled
with a status (draft, review, stable) so you always know how settled a
page is. The site runs on Git-backed MDX — spot a mistake? Every page has an
edit link.
Where to start
Quickstart
Build your first canvas in about 10 minutes.
Concepts
The Canvasm model in plain language: canvases, metrics, dashboards, strategy.
Learn
Go from a business goal to a metric tree, a strategy breakdown, and a review cadence.
Reference
Connect agents (MCP), push metric values, and understand the access model.
What you can do with Canvasm
- Map your metrics. Lay out outcomes, the metrics that measure them, and the drivers underneath — on an infinite canvas.
- Connect your data. Bring numbers in through native connectors or push them from your own pipeline, so the map reflects reality.
- Break down strategy. Turn objectives into hypotheses and actions, and tie each one to the metrics it's expected to move.
- Share the right view. Give each team or audience a dashboard scoped to what they should see.
